- Charge per visit (20-30 min = $20-$30) or per overnight stay ($50-$90), and add flat fees for extras like medication ($5-$10 per dose) or holiday rates (+$10-$15 per visit).
- Invoice weekly for regulars (daily dog walks) and up front for vacation bookings. Getting paid before the trip locks in the dates, and you're never chasing someone who's still at the beach.
- If you charge for key pickup and return or a meet-and-greet, add a line for it. Some sitters charge, some don't. Either way, say so on the invoice.
